I made an awesome raw “ice cream” tonight and it was suuuper easy!
1 frozen banana
1 frozen peach
1/4 c unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tbsp almond butter
Hello, dessert! I ate it so quickly I forgot to snap a pic… clearly a testament to its greatness!
What is going on with me? I wore my yoga pants on inside out to class the other night (I just wrote that terrible sentence), I almost washed my face with toothpaste, I cooked a dinner with exactly ZERO butter tonight (black wild rice, olive oil, and a huge salad with red peppers), and I woke up WITH not AFTER my alarm this morning. Oh! And I’m totally motivated to start Body Rock this weekend.
I don’t know what’s going on, but I think there’s really something to this “2012” end-of-the-world stuff…
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask yourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Inhale, I welcome guidance.
Exhale, I will receive.
Herbs de Provence salami, brie, and black truffle sheep’s milk cheese. Wow. Do you ever eat something so delicious you just want to stand and applaud?
No? That’s just me? Oh… Right.
Well anyway, I’ve been so consumed by life’s little things like work, vacuuming, planning time with friends and family, and who knows what else that I’ve completely neglected my little blog.
In other news, I am rockin’ the house at Heat yoga studio! Come see me!
