Anytime’s a good time for breakfast

I don’t know what it is about this picture that I find so inspiring, but there it is! I don’t even want to spend my words trying to describe the daydream it conjures, so I’ll leave it to you to make your own:

But, back to my casa where the iPhone does the story telling… Aren’t you glad you stopped by?!
Overnight Oats with Cascadian Farm Cinnamon Squares. Breakfast of children champions!

The Vitamix’s inaugural smoothie! Not really, but it’s one of a dozen we’ve made this week:
2 c frozen mixed berries
a handfull of ice cubes
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
2 T mixed nut butter

And a fritatta:
5 eggs
3 T heavy cream
1 red pepper, diced
handfull of spinach
handfull of shredded cheese
chicken sausage for protein!
Heat oven to 375*. Dice pepper. Whisk eggs with salt, pepper, basil, cream. Pour into pie or tart pan, sprinkle with veggies and cheese. Cook for 30 minutes or until solid.
